Fun in the Sun.

I don't know about you but feeling the warmth of the sun on my skin has given me a new lease of life - oh the joy of being able to hang out the washing and have it dry within the day; the joy of eating outside in the garden therefore no cleaning up to do around baby's chair!  In addition to that it opens up a summer of outdoor opportunities...I'm hoping this glorious sunshine stays until December (ever the optimist).
We count ourselves incredibly fortunate to live near a beach and so we seized the beautiful day and went down there. Amos absolutely loves the rockpools, although he has a tendency to try and throw himself in from time to time. On a safer note a great recipe for a fun day out at the beach is to take a simple bucket and spade (provides hours -well probably more like minutes- of entertainment) as you can see below it also has multiple uses, throw in daddy to supervise the proceedings and there you have it you may even manage to read some of that magazine you bought last year!
